Abstract:Objective To explore and analyze the effect of orthodontic combined with oral restoration in adolescent patients with missing tooth. Methods From January 2020 to December 2022, 50 adolescent patients with missing tooth admitted to the Department of Stomatology of Shen County Zudian Town Central Public Health Center were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group (n =25) and study group (n =25) by random number table method. The control group was treated with oral restoration, and the study group was combined with orthodontic treatment on this basis. The treatment effect, oral function score, oral functional recovery time and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 96.00%, which was higher than 76.00% in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of masticatory function, language function and aesthetic repair in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The recovery time of masticatory function and language function in the study group was shorter than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 4.00%, which was lower than 24.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The combined treatment of orthodontics and oral restoration in adolescent patients with missing tooth can improve the clinical efficacy, improve the masticatory function and language function of patients, shorten the recovery time of masticatory function and language function, and reduce the incidence of complications. It is worthy of clinical reference.
