Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of orthodontics combined with implant anchorage in the treatment of tooth deformities. Methods A total of 70 patients with tooth deformities admitted to Linyi People's Hospital from January 2022 to July 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 35 patients in each group. The control group was treated with orthodontics, and the observation group was treated with orthodontics combined with implant anchorage. The treatment effect, clinical indicators and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 88.57%, which was higher than 68.57% in the control group (P <0.05). The forward movement of molars in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the inclination angle of upper central incisor and the convex distance of upper central incisor were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of physiological function, rolephysiological, body pain, general health status, energy, social function, emotional function and mental health in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with tooth deformities, orthodontics combined with implant anchorage has a positive effect on improving the efficacy and their dental conditions of patients. At the same time, it can improve the quality of life of patients and has high clinical application value.
