Objective: To explore the effect of feedforward control nursing applied to patients with hand burn scars. Method: A total of 86 hand burn patients treated in our hospital from October 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the subjects. Based on different nursing methods, they were divided into a control group (43 cases, receiving routine nursing) and an experimental group (43 cases, receiving feedforward control nursing). Both groups received nursing intervention until discharge and were followed up for 6 months. Compare the effects of two intervention groups. Result: During a 6-month follow-up, the experimental group had a better rate of excellent and good recovery of hand function compared to the control group (P<0.05). At 3-month and 6-month follow-up, the experimental group had lower SCAR scores compared to the control group (P<0.05). Compared with before nursing, the dressing, washing, and eating scores of both groups improved during the 6-month follow-up, and the experimental group had higher scores than the control group (P<0.05). The experimental group had a lower overall incidence of complications compared to the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: The application of feedforward control nursing in patients with hand burn scars has a definite effect, which can promote the recovery of their hand function, improve their scars and quality of life, and reduce complications.
