Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of individualized intervention on orthodontic compliance in adolescents. Methods From January 2022 to December 2023, 60 adolescent patients who received orthodontic treatment in our hospital were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received routine oral intervention, and the observation group implemented individualized intervention on the basis of the control group. The time-consuming course of treatment, the incident of unexpected cases, the excellent and good rate of oral hygiene, and compliance were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of accidents in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The excellent and good rate of oral hygiene in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). The proportion of compliance behavior in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion In the orthodontic treatment stage of adolescents, individualized intervention measures can shorten the course of treatment, reduce the incidence of accidents, improve the excellent and good rate of oral hygiene, and patients have good compliance.
