Abstract:Objective To study the effect of narrow-spectrum intense pulsed light (DPL) dynamic therapy combined with mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream in the treatment of scar in the early stage after facial cosmetic suture. Methods A total of 90 patients who underwent facial cosmetic suture in our hospital from October 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group (n =45) and study group (n =45) by random number table method. The control group was treated with mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream for scar repair after operation. The study group was treated with DPL dynamic therapy on the basis of the control group for scar repair. The therapeutic effect, scar (VSS) score, pain (VAS) score and serum vascular endothelial factor (VEGF) level were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.56%, which was higher than 82.22% in the control group (P <0.05). The VSS score of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and that of the study group was lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). The VAS score of the study group at 3 and 7 days after treatment was lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). The serum VEGF level of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and that of the study group was lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion DPL dynamic therapy combined with mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream is effective in the treatment of scar in the early stage after facial cosmetic suture, which can improve the scar condition, reduce the pain degree of patients, reduce the level of VEGF, and thus effectively improve the scar formation.
