Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of continuous nursing intervention on incision aesthetics and quality of life in patients with cesarean section. Methods A total of 100 patients with cesarean section admitted to our hospital from January to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was given perioperative nursing intervention, and the observation group was given continuous nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The width and thickness of incision scar, incision aesthetics , postoperative quality of life score, breastfeeding and breast swelling degree were compared between the two groups. Results The width and thickness of scar in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incision aesthetics rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The postoperative social relationship, environment, psychological health, and physiological health scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P <0.05). The proportion of exclusive breastfeeding in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). The degree of breast swelling in the observation group was better than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion For cesarean section patients, continuous nursing intervention can improve the nursing effect, promote wound healing, improve aesthetics, and help to improve the rate of exclusive breastfeeding, improve the quality of life of women after sur gery, and reduce postoperative breast swelling.
