Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of immediate implant and delayed implant aesthetic restoration on patients with traumatic loss of upper anterior teeth and its influence on aesthetics. Methods From June 2022 to June 2023, 60 patients with traumatic loss of upper anterior teeth in our hospital were selected as the research objects. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with delayed implant, and the observation group was treated with immediate implant. The repair effect, tooth aesthetics and periodontal health status of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the long axis angle of bone in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group, and the bone height was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the PES score and WES score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the plaque index and gingival index of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of patients with traumatic loss of upper anterior teeth, the aesthetic repair effect of immediate implant is better than that of delayed implant, which can not only effectively improve the aesthetics of teeth, but also improve the periodontal health.
