Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of plastic surgery in the operation of giant fibroadenoma of the breast. Methods A total of 50 patients with giant fibroadenoma admitted to our hospital from September 2014 to September 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional surgical methods to remove giant fibroadenoma, and the observation group was treated with plastic surgery to remove giant fibroadenoma. The intraoperative blood loss, operation time, complications and surgical satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The amount of bleeding in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the operation time was longer than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 8.00%, which was lower than 36.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The surgical satisfaction of the observation group was 96.00%, which was higher than 52.00% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The removal of giant fibroadenoma by arc incision combined with glandular flap transfer can reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss, shorten the operation time, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve the satisfaction of patients. It is worthy of application.
