Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of nasal tip plastic surgery with autologous nasal septum cartilage and auricular cartilage. Methods A total of 82 patients with nasal tip plastic surgery admitted to Hebei General Hospital of Chinese People's Armed Police Force and the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University from October 2019 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to different treatment schemes, they were divided into control group and experimental group, with 41 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional expansion prosthesis filling nasal tip plastic surgery, and the experimental group was treated with autologous nasal septum cartilage and ear cartilage nasal tip plastic surgery. The cosmetic aesthetic indexes, complication and cosmetic effect satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The nasal length and nasal tip height in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the success rate of correction was higher than that in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 2.44%, which was lower than 17.07% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The score of satisfaction cosmetic effect in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of autologous nasal septal cartilage and auricular cartilage in nasal tip plastic surgery can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve the satisfaction of patients with surgical treatment on the basis of ensuring a high success rate of correction, which is worthy of clinical application.
