Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of all-ceramic veneer and resin veneer in the aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in patients with dental fluorosis. Methods A total of 80 patients with dental fluorosis admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with resin veneer repair, and the observation group was treated with all-ceramic veneer repair. The clinical efficacy, inflammatory factor level, periodontal aesthetics and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%, which was higher than 82.50% of the control group (P <0.05). The expression levels of MMP-9 and MMP-2 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The periodontal aesthetics of the observation group was 95.00%, which was higher than 77.50% of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.50%, which was lower than 15.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion In the aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in patients with dental fluorosis, the effect of all-ceramic veneer restoration is exact, which can improve the level of gingival crevicular fluid, improve the periodontal aesthetics, and reduce the incidence of complications. It is worthy of clinical application.
