Abstract:Objective To compare the application effect of ceramic laminate veneer and porcelain crown in oral aesthetic restoration. Methods A total of 160 patients who received oral aesthetic restoration in our hospital from February 2021 to February 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 80 patients in each group. The control group was treated with porcelain crown, and the observation group was treated with ceramic laminate veneer. The aesthetic repair effect, periodontal status and adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results The aesthetic repair effect score of the two groups at 3 and 6 months after repair was higher than that at 1 month after repair, and the aesthetic repair effect score of the two groups at 6 months after repair was higher than that at 3 months after repair, and the aesthetic repair effect score of the observation group at 3 and 6 months after repair was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). PD, AL and BI levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at 6 months after repair (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 3.75%, which was lower than 17.50% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Compared with the porcelain crown, the application effect and cosmetic repair effect of the ceramic laminate veneer are better, which can reduce the periodontal damage, the incidence of adverse events is lower, and it is more safe and practical.
