Objective To explore the advantages of clinical nursing pathway in double eyelid plastic repair. Methods A total of 120 patients who underwent double eyelid plastic surgery in the Ophthalmology Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from October 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group (n =60) and study group (n =60) according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with routine nursing, and the study group was treated with clinical nursing pathway. The operation satisfaction, anxiety score, eye activity, hospitalization days and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The surgical satisfaction score of the study group was (95.05±2.47) scores, which was higher than (83.54±3.58) scores of the control group (P <0.05). The anxiety score of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P <0.05). The eye activity ability after nursing in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The hospitalization days of the study group were shorter than those of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 1.67%, which was lower than 10.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The clinical nursing pathway can reduce anxiety, improve eye activity, reduce hospitalization days, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve surgical satisfaction for patients with double eyelid plastic surgery. It is worthy of application.
