Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of empowerment education model after cesarean section and its influence on incision aesthetics and thrombosis cognition of patients. Methods A total of 94 primiparas who underwent cesarean section in the obstetrics department of our hospital from June 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 47 primiparas in each group. The control group was given routine postoperative care, and the study group was given an empowerment education model on the basis of the control group. The scar condition, incision aesthetics, rehabilitation time, thrombosis awareness and compliance were compared between the two groups. Results The width and thickness of scar in the study group were smaller than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in scar length between the two groups (P >0.05). The VSS score, PSAS score and OSAS score of the study group were lower than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The anal exhaust time, ambulation time and postoperative hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The scores of each dimension of thrombosis cognition in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The compliance rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The implementation of the empowerment education model can improve cesarean section maternal thrombosis awareness and compliance, which is conducive to reducing the degree of scar, improving the aesthetics of the incision, and promoting postp artum recovery.
