With the development of oral medical technology, combined orthodontic and orthognathic treatment has gradually become an important means to solve complex maxillofacial deformities. Among many treatment techniques, bracketless invisible orthodontic technology has attracted wide attention due to its high aesthetics and comfort. With the development of new technologies, the application scope and effect of bracketless invisible orthodontic technology in the combined orthodontic and orthognathic treatment of complex maxillofacial deformities are expanding and improving, which provides a new perspective and possibility for clinical research and practice. This article mainly reviews the application status of bracketless invisible orthodontic technology in orthodontic and orthognathic combined treatment, focusing on the characteristics of bracketless invisible orthodontic technology, the application methods and characteristics of bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment combined with orthodontic and orthognathic treatment, in order to promote its effective application in the treatment of complex maxillofacial deformities.
