Objective To observe the application effect of orthodontic treatment in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods From February 2021 to February 2023, 90 patients who received cosmetic repair of anterior teeth in Cares Dental Clinic of Lai shan District were selected and divided into conventional group and orthodontic group by random number table method, with 45 patients in each group. The conventional group was treated with periodontal basic treatment, and the orthodontic group was treated with orthodontic treatment on this basis. The periodontal health, masticatory function and inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, periodontal health, masticatory function and inflammatory factor levels were better than those in the conventional group (P <0.05). Conclusion In the aesthetic restorationof anterior teeth, compared with simple periodontal basic treatment, combined with orthodontic treatment can effectively improve the repair effect, improve the periodontal health and masticatory function of patients, and reduce the level of inflammatory factors, which has important clinical application value.
