Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of ultra-thin porcelain veneer in minimally invasive aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent minimally invasive aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in the Department of Stomatology of our hospital from July 2022 to June 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional resin veneer repair, and the observation group was treated with ultra-thin porcelain veneer repair. The success rate, satisfaction, quality of life and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The repair success rate of the observation group was 97.50%, which was lower than 77.50% of the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction scores of cosmetic effect and repair effect in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of psychological function, physiological function and social function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.50%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of ultra-thin porcelain paste in minimally invasive aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth is effective, which can effectively improve the success rate of tooth repair. Meanwhile, the patients are satisfied with the aesthetic effect and repair effect, which is conducive to maintaining periodontal health and improving the quality of life, and the incidence of complications after repair is low.
