Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of half-way digital guide plate guided oral implant restoration on the 3-year retention rate of edentulous patients. Methods A total of 50 patients with edentulous jaws admitted to Danyang Modern Oral Clinic from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment methods, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional edentulous implant surgery, and the observation group was treated with half-way digital guide plate guided oral implant repair. The planting accuracy, periodontal health, planting success rate and 3-year retention rate were compared between the two groups. Results The angle deviation, depth deviation, apical deviation and neck deviation of the observation group were smaller than those of the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the plaque index and gingival index of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). The success rate of implantation and 3-year retention rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with edentulous jaws, half-way digital guide plate guided oral implant restoration can not only effectively improve the accuracy of implantation, but also improve their periodontal health, increase the success rate of implantation and 3-year retention rate.
