Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of extended nursing service based on WeChat platform for patients with anterior teeth defect repaired by nano-composite resin. Methods A total of 200 patients with anterior teeth defect admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 100 patients in each group. Both groups were treated with nano-composite resin repair. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given extended nursing service based on WeChat platform on the basis of the control group. The tooth aesthetics, nursing satisfaction, oral hygiene status, gingival health status and follow-up compliance were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of patients' tooth aesthetics and doctors' teeth aesthetics in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at 3 and 6 months after operation (P <0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 95.00% of the control group (P <0.05). The OHI-S score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group at 3 and 6 months after operation (P <0.05). The GI score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). The follow-up compliance of the observation group was 96.00%, which was higher than 82.00% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The extended nursing service based on WeChat platform can effectively improve the tooth aesthetics of patients with anterior teeth defect repaired by nano-composite resin, improve their oral hygiene and gingival health status, and help to improve patient satisfaction and follow-up compliance.
