Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of modified Park method and traditional incision method in double eyelid surgery. Methods A total of 36 patients with double eyelid surgery admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to April 2024 were randomly divided into conventional group and study group, with 18 patients in each group. The conventional group was treated with traditional incision method, and the study group was treated with modified Park method. The primary healing, perioperative indexes, postoperative double eyelid shape satisfaction and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The first-stage healing rate of the study group was 100.00%, which was higher than 66.67% of the conventional group (P <0.05). The operation time and postoperative recovery time of the study group were shorter than those of the conventional group (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate of double eyelid shape in the study group was 94.44%, which was higher than 61.11% in the conventional group (P <0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was 11.11%, which was lower than 44.44% in the conventional group (P <0.05). Conclusion Compared with the traditional incision method, the modified Park method is more effective in double eyelid surgery, which can effectively promote primary healing, shorten the operation time and postoperative recovery time, improve the satisfaction of postoperative double eyelid shape, and has better safety.
