Abstract:Objective To study the effect of bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment in the treatment of malocclusion in children, and to analyze the periodontal health index and curative effect of patients after treatment. Methods From November 2020 to November 2023,100 children with malocclusion treated in Kunshan Dental Doctor Clinic were selected and divided into control group and study group randomly, with 50 children in each group. The control group was given traditional fixed orthodontic treatment, and the study group was given bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment. The clinical efficacy, periodontal health index, clinical indicators and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the periodontal index of the study group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The number of follow-up visits in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the correction time of dislocation teeth and torsion teeth was shorter than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment has high efficacy and safety, which can effectively improve the periodontal health index and accelerate the recovery process of the disease.
