Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of doctor-patient communication training method in clinical teaching of dermatology department. Methods From September 2019 to September 2023, 90 general practitioners who underwent job transfer training in the Department of Dermatology, LinglingHospital, Yongzhou Central Hospital were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and study group, 45 general practitioners in each group. The control group received routine clinical teaching, and the study group received doctor-patient communication training. After the training, the Liverpool Communication Skills Assessment Scale (LCSAS) was used to evaluate the doctor-patient communication skills of the two groups of general practitioners. Questionnaires were distributed to investigate the recognition of clinical teaching programs by two groups of general practitioners. Results After training, the dimensions and total scores of LCSAS scale in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The proportion of questionnaire items agreed by general practitioners in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Doctor-patient communication training in clinical teaching of dermatology department can improve the doctor-patient communication ability of general practitioners, and general practitioners have a high recognition of this mode of teaching.
