Objective To explore the application effect of cosmetic suture technique in incision treatment after cesarean section. Methods A total of 326 parturients with cesarean section admitted to Jurong People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and experimental group, with 163 parturients in each group. The control group was given traditional suture, and the experimental group was given cosmetic suture technology. The incision suture and clinical indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The proportions of uneven wound, red and swollen abdominal knot, obvious needle eye or suture scar in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The disappearance time of local redness and swelling, hospitalization time ,the incidence of incision infection and VAS score in the experimental group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of cosmetic suture technique in incision treatment after cesarean section can promote incision healing, shorten the disappearance time of local redness and swelling and hospitalization time, reduce the incidence of infection, and relieve the pain, which is worthy of clinical application.
