Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of orthodontic combined with porcelain cosmetic on the aesthetics and occlusal function of patients. Methods From January 2021 to May 2022, 60 patients with orthodontic treatment in our hospital were selected. The patients were divided into conventional group and experimental group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The conventional group was treated with porcelain cosmetic repair, and the experimental group was treated with porcelain cosmetic repair on the basis of the conventional group. The cosmetic repair effect, occlusal condition after repair and patients' satisfaction with the repair results were compared between the two groups. Results The color, appearance, overall aesthetics and facial scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the conventional group (P <0.05). The occlusal contact time, left and right lateral force percentage and force center distance in the experimental group were better than those in the conventional group (P <0.05). The satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the conventional group (P <0.05). Conclusion Orthodontic combined with porcelain cosmetic has a good cosmetic repair effect, and it can also improve the occlusal function of patients and meet the expectations of patients for repair treatment.
