Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of new tooth preparation in oral restoration. Methods Sixty patients who underwent oral restoration in our hospital from April 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received traditional tooth preparation, and the study group received new tooth preparation. The repair effect, long-term stability of restorations, satisfaction and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of pain degree in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the score of restoration stability and restoration aesthetics was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The proportion of long-term stability of the restoration in the study group was 96.67%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction score of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 3.33%, which was lower than 10.00% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The new dental preparation method has a definite application effect in the treatment of oral restoration, which can effectively relieve the pain degree, improve the aesthetics and stability of teeth. Meanwhile, it is conducive to improving the long-term stability of the prosthesis, and the incidence of postoperative complications is low, the patient satisfaction is high.
