Abstract:Objective To compare the aesthetic effects of minimally invasive ultra-thin veneer and all-ceramic veneer in repairing hag teeth. Methods Sixty patients who underwent hag teeth repair in our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group (n =30, 50 affected teeth) and observation group (n =30, 54 affected teeth) by random number table method. The control group was treated with all-ceramic veneer, and the observation group was treated with minimally invasive ultra-thin veneer. The repair effect, dental aesthetics scores and tooth complications were compared between the two groups. Results The proportion of grade A repair effect in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After 1 year of repair, the scores of tooth physique, color, labial gingival margin level, soft tissue morphology and alveolar appearance aesthetics in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of tooth complications in the observation group was 9.26%, which was lower than 28.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The repair effect and aesthetic effect of minimally invasive ultra-thin veneer in hag teeth repair are better than those of all-ceramic veneer, and the incidence of complications is lower, which is worthy of clinical application.
