Abstract:Objective To analyze the difference in the effect of immediate implant placements and conventional delayed implant placements in patients with tooth loss. Methods A total of 62 patients with tooth loss admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were randomly divided into control group (n =31) and observation group (n =31). The control group was treated with conventional delayed implant placements, and the observation group was treated with immediate implant placements. The clinical efficacy, implant stability, pink esthetic score and repair effect were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.77%, which was higher than 80.65% in the control group (P <0.05). The implant stability values of the observation group at 1,3 and 6 months after treatment were higher than those of the control group (P <0.05). The pink esthetic score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group at 1, 3 and 6 months after treatment (P <0.05). The scores of aesthetics, comfort, color, gingival margin, shape and personalized features in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of immediate implant placements in the treatment of tooth loss is better than that of conventional delayed immediate implant placements. After treatment, the implant stability value is higher, the teeth are more beautiful, and the oral repair effect is ideal, which is worthy of clinical application.
