Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of bracketless invisible correction orthodontic technique in orthodontics and its influence on oral function. Methods A total of 76 orthodontic patients admitted to Shenzhen Wildebeest Stomatology Clinic from January 2020 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group (37 patients) and observation group (39 patients) by random number table method. The control group was treated with fixed orthodontic technique, and the observation group was treated with bracketless invisible correction technique. The correction effect, treatment time, oral function and correction satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of correction in the observation group was 82.05%, which was lower than 97.30% in the control group (P<0.05). The upright time of inclined teeth and the time of twisting teeth in the observation group were longer than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of masticatory function, occlusion and overall function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at 24 h after treatment (P<0.05). The satisfaction scores of aesthetics, comfort, language function and masticatory function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The treatment effect of bracketless invisible correction technique is close to that of fixed orthodontic technique, but it has less influence on oral function and higher correction satisfaction of patients after wearing, but the treatment time is slightly longer than that of traditional fixed orthodontic technique, which is worthy of clinical application.
