Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of ultra-thin all-ceramic veneer in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 88 patients who underwent aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in Huishan Dehou Stomatology Clinic from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 44 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional dental aesthetic repair, and the observation group was treated with ultra-thin all-ceramic veneer repair. The periodontal indexes, gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factor levels, complications and tooth aesthetics were compared between the two groups. Results After 1 month of repair, GI and PI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). After 1 month of repair, MMP-2 and IL-1β in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.82%, which was lower than 27.27% in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of texture, color, labial gingival margin level, soft tissue morphology and alveolar shape in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of ultra-thin all-ceramic veneer in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth is helpful to improve the aesthetics of teeth, improve periodontal indexes, reduce the level of inflammatory factors in gingival crevicular fluid, and reduce the risk of complications.
