Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Fuzhiqing ointment in patients with acne vulgaris. Methods A total of 98 patients with acne vulgaris admitted to our hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 49 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional drugs orally, and the observation group was treated with Fuzhiqing ointment on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, skin condition, inflammatory factor index, adverse reactions and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.96%, which was higher than 79.59% in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of inflammatory skin lesions and facial seborrheic in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at 2 and 4 weeks after treatment, and the water content of stratum corneum was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the levels of hs-CRP and PCT in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of IL-10 was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 2.04%, which was lower than 4.08% in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). After treatment, the scores of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The treatment of acne vulgaris patients with Fuzhiqing ointment can obtain ideal results. Compared with conventional drug oral treatment, Fuzhiqing ointment can not only improve the symptoms of inflammatory skin lesions, but also avoid excessive facial sebum, increase stratum corneum moisture, effectively inhibit the secretion of inflammatory factors, and the application safety is high, which has positive significance for promoting the quality of life of patients.
