Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of finasteride tablets, minoxidil liniment combined with collagen in the treatment of male androgenetic alopecia. Methods From June 2022 to June 2023, 60 male androgenetic alopecia patients were selected from the outpatient department of Beijing Damai Medical Beauty Hospital. The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with oral finasteride tablets+topical minoxidil liniment, and the observation group was treated with finasteride tablets+minoxidil liniment+type Ⅲ and ⅩⅦ collagen mixture microneedle scalp introduction. The anti-detachment rate, total improvement rate, hair density, hair diameter, patient satisfaction and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After 3 months of treatment, the rate of withdrawal in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05), while there was no significant difference in the total improvement rate between the two groups (P >0.05). At 6 months after treatment, there was no significant difference in the anti-detachment rate between the two groups (P >0.05), while the total improvement rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the hair follicle density and hair diameter of the two groups were greater than those before treatment, and the hair follicle density and hair diameter of the observation group were greater than those of the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P >0.05). Conclusion Finasteride tablets, minoxidil liniment combined with collagen in the treatment of male androgenic alopecia have rapid onset and high effective rate, which can improve hair follicle density and hair diameter without increasing the incidence of adverse reactions, and the patient satisfaction is high.
