Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of vacuum sealing drainage on wound recovery in patients with burn and plastic surgery. Methods A total of 50 patients with burn and plastic surgery admitted to our hospital from October 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine dressing change, and the observation group was treated with vacuum sealing drainage. The clinical efficacy, pain level, wound recovery and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.00%, which was higher than 76.00% of the control group (P<0.05). The VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The time of wound recovery, hospitalization and antibiotic use in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.00%, which was lower than 24.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Vacuum sealing drainage for burn and plastic surgery can reduce the pain level of patients, reduce the probability of complications, promote wound recovery, and the overall effect is better, which is worthy of clinical application.
