Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of Yan’s tension-free suture in cosmetic suture of cesarean section and its influence on aesthetics and incidence of complications. Methods From November 2022 to December 2023, 68 parturients who underwent cesarean section in the obstetrics department of our hospital were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into reference group and experimental group, with 34 parturients in each group. The traditional suture method was selected in the reference group, and the Yan’s tension-free suture was used in the experimental group. The suture effect, clinical indicators, incision aesthetics, satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group (100.00%) was higher than that of the reference group (85.29%), and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The suture time and incision healing time of the experimental group were shorter than those of the reference group, the scar width and the thinnest thickness of the scar were lower than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The incision aesthetics score of the experimental group was higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The satisfaction score of the experimental group was higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group (2.94%) was lower than that in the reference group (20.59%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of Yan’s tension-free suture in cosmetic suture of cesarean section can reduce the degree of incision scar, improve aesthetics and satisfaction, and reduce the incidence of complications.
