Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect and safety of small incision degreasing combined with continuous embedding method in asymmetric double eyelid. Methods A total of 90 patients with asymmetric double eyelid admitted to Yixing Eye Hospital from August 2022 to June 2024 were selected and divided into control group and study group according to random number table method, with 45 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional incision and plastic surgery, and the study group was treated with small incision degreasing combined with continuous embedding. The aesthetic rate, satisfaction of repair effect, operation related indexes and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The aesthetic rate of repair in the study group (95.56%) was higher than that in the control group (80.00%) (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate of repair effect in the study group (93.33%) was higher than that in the control group (75.56%) (P <0.05). The incision healing time of the study group was shorter than that of the control group, the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group, and the operation time was longer than that of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group (4.44%) was lower than that in the control group (22.22%) (P <0.05). Conclusion In the process of plastic repair of patients with asymmetric double eyelid, small incision liposuction combined with continuous catgut embedding can improve the repair effect, improve the aesthetics of patients' eyes, and have fewer postoperative complications, which is conducive to the healing of incision, and has been recognized by patients.
