Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of doxycycline combined with red and blue light irradiation in the treatment of acne rosacea. Methods A total of 60 patients with acne rosacea admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into control group and observation group by the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. Both groups received conventional treatment intervention, while the control group was given red and blue light irradiation on the basis of conventional treatment, and the observation group was combined with doxycycline and red and blue light irradiation. The clinical efficacy, inflammatory factor levels, skin physiological function, skin lesion scores and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate in the observation group was 96.67%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the IL-6, CRP, TNF-α, transepidermal water loss, skin moisture content, oil, all dimensions of skin lesion scores and all dimensions of quality of life scores in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Doxycycline combined with red and blue light therapy can effectively improve the clinical efficacy of patients with acne rosacea, reduce the level of inflammatory factors, improve patients' skin condition and lesions, thereby improving their quality of life.
