Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of bracketless invisible orthodontic technology in orthodontic treatment and its impact on patients' dental function and aesthetics degree. Methods A total of 86 orthodontic patients admitted to Wuxi Xueqian Street RYTIME Tongshan Dental Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into reference group and experimental group by the random number table method, with 43 patients in each group. The reference group was treated with traditional fixed orthodontic appliance, and the experimental group was treated with bracketless invisible orthodontic technology. The clinical efficacy, periodontal indexes, dental function and aesthetics degree were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the experimental group was 97.67%, which was better than 83.72% in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the gingival sulcus bleeding index, gingival index and plaque index in the experimental group were all lower than those in the reference group, and the difference were statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of masticatory function, language function and aesthetics degree in the experimental group were all higher than those in the reference group, and the difference were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of bracketless invisible orthodontic technology in orthodontic treatment can effectively improve periodontal indexes, improve dental function and aesthetics degree, and can improve the overall clinical efficacy, which is worthy of clinical application.
