Objective To investigate the effect of centella triterpenes cream combined with low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation on postpartum striae gravidarum repair and abdominal aesthetics. Methods A total of 80 patients with striae gravidarum admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and the observation group was treated with centella triterpenes cream combined with low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation. The clinical efficacy, satisfaction and abdominal aesthetics were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of repair in the observation group was 92.50%, which was higher than 75.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate in the observation group was 97.50%, which was higher than 77.50% in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the VSS score in the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Centella triterpenes cream combined with low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation has a better repair effect on postpartum striae gravidarum, which can effectively improve patients' satisfaction and abdominal aesthetics scores, and it is worthy of clinical appli cation.
