Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of vertical incision breast suspension surgery for breast ptosis and its influence on breast shape and treatment satisfaction. Methods A total of 50 patients with breast ptosis admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to March 2024 were selected and divided into control group and study group by the random number table method, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was given double ring incision surgery, and the study group was given vertical incision breast suspension surgery. The breast shape, breast shape satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the distance from the middle point of the median breast fold to the nipple, the distance from the sternal concave to the nipple, the over-nipple chest circumference, and the areola diameter in the study group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the satisfaction scores of breast size, relaxation state, breast symmetry and breast shape in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 8.00%, which was lower than 36.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of vertical incision breast suspension surgery in patients with breast ptosis can effectively improve patients' breast shape and increase their satisfaction with breast shape, and the incidence of postoperative complications is low, thus the clinical application value is high.
