Objective To analyze the effect of lifting suborbicularis oculi fat (SOOF) combined with orbital septum and orbital septum fat anastomosis fixation in the treatment of lacrimal groove type pouch. Methods A total of 68 patients with lacrimal groove type pouch admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to the different treatment schemes, with 34 patients in each group. The control group was given orbital septum fat release surgery, and the observation group was given lifting SOOF combined with orbital septum and orbital septum fat anastomosis fixation surgery. The rejuvenation effect, clinical symptom improvement and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of rejuvenation in the observation group was 97.06%, which was higher than 73.53% in the control group (P <0.05). After operation, the scores of pigmentation, lower eyelid dermatochalasis, pouch bulge and lacrimal groove in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The treatment satisfaction in the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 73.53% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Lifting SOOF combined with orbital septum and orbital septum fat anastomosis fixation correction can enhance the rejuvenation effect and improve the clinical symptoms in patients with lacrimal groove type pouch, and the treatment satisfaction is high.
