In recent years, rhinoplasty materials have developed rapidly and made remarkable progress, becoming a key driving force for the advancement of the industry. Currently, the research on rhinoplasty materials tends to be diverse, and achieving natural effects and higher safety are also the main directions of material research. So far, materials such as autologous cartilage and autologous fat have a relatively high clinical acceptance. However, the attendant complications can not be ignored. In order to further understand and summarize the advantages, disadvantages and complications of the more popular rhinoplasty materials in recent years, this article retrieves the representative literature of domestic and foreign scholars on rhinoplasty materials, reviews and summarizes the development history, current situation of rhinoplasty materials, and expectations for the future development of rhinoplasty materials, in the hope of providing references for rhinoplasty surgeries.
