Abstract:With the development of the economy and people's increasing pursuit of a high-quality life, the beauty industry has entered a new era of rapid development. To adapt to this new development, the Medical Cosmetology Technology major at Fujian Health College has seized the new opportunities of vocational education, established new development concepts of vocational education, and is committed to optimizing the talent training mode, enhancing professional allocation, improving students' practical ability, and promoting students’ high-quality employment. Since our college introduced the medical cosmetology technology major in 2012, over a decade of exploration and practice has been undertaken, along with continuous communication with industry enterprises. As a result, relatively mature talent training mode has been developed. However, there remains a gap between the current level and the ideal standard of high-quality talent. This paper explores the practice and reform of deepening industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, including various industry-education integration modes such as establishing school-enterprise classes, jointly building staff training centers, and creating practice education demonstration bases, and analyzes the advantages and challenges in the implementation process. Through research on the job requirements of medical cosmetology institutions and enterprises, the paper proposes scientific recommendations for professional curriculum settings, further emphasizing the necessity of deepening industry-education integration and strengthening the school-enterprise cooperation cooperative education mode, in order to train more high-quality technical and skilled talents that meet industry development needs and contribute to regional economic development.
