Abstract:Objective To explore the restoration effect of fixed denture in oral restoration treatment and its influence on periodontal status. Methods A total of 30 patients who underwent oral restoration treatment in Beijing Sijiqing Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the study group, with 15 patients in each group. The control group received restoration treatment with removable denture, and the study group received restoration treatment with fixed denture. The restoration effect, periodontal status, restoration satisfaction and gingival crevicular fluid indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of restoration in the study group (93.33%) was higher than that in the control group (66.67%) (P <0.05). After treatment, the GI, PD, BI and PLI in the study group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of tooth color, fit, morphology and aesthetic proportion in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion In oral restoration treatment, the fixed denture has a better restoration effect. It can effectively repair the dentition defect, maintain periodontal health, reduce the inflammatory reaction after treatment, and improve the restoration satisfaction of patients.
