Abstract:With the increasing demand for oral health and aesthetics, the problem of anterior teeth malocclusion has received more and more attention. Although orthodontics can effectively correct dental alignment, problems such as tooth morphology, color, or diastema may remain after treatment, which requires further improvement through oral restoration. Among them, porcelain veneer, as a minimally invasive and aesthetic restoration method, has been widely used in the restoration after anterior teeth orthodontics. Ultra-thin, minimally invasive, and digital porcelain veneer techniques each have their own unique characteristics. However, currently, clinicians may face certain challenges in selecting porcelain veneer techniques, grasping the indications, and formulating treatment plans. This paper reviews the relevant research on the application and aesthetic effect of different porcelain veneer techniques in the restoration after anterior teeth orthodontics, aiming to provide some references for clinical application.
