Abstract:Breast-conserving plastic surgery for breast cancer is a surgical method that combines the techniques of oncologic surgery and plastic surgery, aiming to remove the tumor while maintaining breast aesthetics. As a systematic and standardized medical information management method, medical record management plays an important role in breast-conserving plastic surgery. Through optimizing the diagnosis and treatment process, meeting patient needs, reducing medical risks, promoting doctor-patient communication, and supporting medical research, the value of medical record management in breast-conserving plastic surgery for breast cancer cannot be ignored. This paper first provides an overview of the current situation and importance of breast-conserving plastic surgery for breast cancer, and then explores the application value of medical record management in breast-conserving plastic surgery. It focuses on analyzing the application of medical record management in preoperative assessment, formulation of surgical plans, postoperative effect evaluation and follow-up, and discusses the challenges it faces and the future development direction, in order to provide evidence-based basis for improving the quality of surgery, perfecting the postoperative follow-up system, and formulating precision medical policies, so as to promote the in-depth integration of breast surgery, plastic surgery, and medical record management.
