Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of modified three-point double eyelid surgery on eyelid aesthetic degree in patients with upper eyelid skin laxity. Methods A total of 120 patients with upper eyelid skin laxity admitted to Honghuagang District Zhongshan Road Meiruoyaoguang Medical Beauty Clinic from January to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 60 patients in each group. The control group received buried suture method double eyelid surgery, and the observation group received modified three-point double eyelid surgery. The eyelid aesthetic degree, clinical related indexes and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The proportions of upper eyelid skin laxity improvement, bilateral eyelid symmetry, upper eyelid no depression and incision scar unobvious in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The firststage healing rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the postoperative recovery time was shorter than that in the control group, and the VAS score was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 0, which was lower than 5.00% in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). Conclusion The application of modified three-point double eyelid surgery for patients with upper eyelid skin laxity has a good effect, with a short postoperative recovery time and a high rate of first-stage healing. It can effectively relieve the pain degree of patients, improve the eyelid aesthetic degree after surgery, and does not increase the incidence of complications, which is worthy of clinical application.
