Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of the intervention of longitudinal track continuous nursing pathway on periodontal health and aesthetics in orthodontics patients. Methods A total of 40 orthodontics patients admitted to our hospital from May 2023 to May 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 20 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing intervention, and the observation group received longitudinal track continuous nursing pathway intervention on the basis of the control group. The periodontal health status, aesthetics, comfort index and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the plaque index, sulcus bleeding index, gingival index and periodontal pocket depth in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The aesthetics grade in the observation group after nursing was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The comfort index in the observation group after nursing was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction in the observation group after nursing was 95.00%, which was higher than 70.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of longitudinal track continuous nursing pathway intervention for orthodontics patients can improve the periodontal health condition, increase the comfort index, and has higher aesthetics and nursing satisfaction.
