Standardized training of general stomatology represents a new national training model for stomatology talents. It involves multiple sub-specialties and is difficult to conduct. Currently, there is still no unified standard for training stomatology residents. To explore the effect of the tutorial system in standardized training in general stomatology teaching, this study analyzed the current situation and main problems of standardized training of general stomatology, the advantages of introducing the tutorial system into such training, and the application of the tutorial system in standardized training in general stomatology. It has found that the tutorial system can effectively cultivate standardized training talents in general stomatology.
