Objective: To explore the cosmetic effect of Dyract in the restoration of dental defects. Method: Relevant data of 80 patients with dental defects in the hospital were collected for a single-center randomized controlled open trial. The time range was from June 2022 to December 2024. They were randomly divided into 2 groups according to the random number table, with 40 cases in each group. The control group and the study group respectively underwent restoration with photocurable composite resin filling materials and Dyract composite materials. The periodontal index, restoration success rate, restoration satisfaction, and periodontal tissue conditions before and after treatment were analyzed. Result: The data differences indicated that all the periodontal index indicators of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the data differences were significant (P < 0.05). The comparison of statistical data showed that there were significant differences in periodontal tissue conditions. The volume, quality and bleeding index of gingival crevicular fluid in the control group were higher than those in the study group, with significant differences (P < 0.05). The success rate of repair in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The proportion of repair satisfaction in the research group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Dyract has a good restoration effect, which can effectively improve the periodontal tissue condition and periodontal index of patients, increase the success rate and satisfaction of restoration, and can be applied.
