Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Lux 1565 nm non-ablative fractional laser combined with type A botulinum toxin injection on wrinkles in patients with periorbital skin aging. Methods A total of 126 patients with periorbital skin aging admitted to Fuzhou Alltime Medical Beauty Clinic from April 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into group A, group B and group C, with 42 patients in each group. Group A received periorbital botulinum toxin type A injection, group B received Lux 1565 nm non-ablative fractional laser treatment, and group C received the combination of Lux 1565 nm non-ablative fractional laser and periorbital botulinum toxin type A injection. The periorbital wrinkle scores, overall facial aesthetics and adverse reactions were compared among the three groups. Results At 1 and 3 months after treatment, the periorbital wrinkle scores in group C were lower than those in group A and group B (P <0.05). The GAIS grade in group C was better than that in group A and group B (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions among the three groups (P >0.05). Conclusion The combination of Lux 1565 nm non-ablative fractional laser and periorbital injection of type A botulinum toxin can effectively improve periorbital wrinkles, enhance overall facial aesthetics, and does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions in patients with periorbital skin aging, which is worthy of clinical application.
