Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of tacrolimus cream combined with halometasone cream in treating seborrheic dermatitis patients. Methods: This study enrolled 60 seborrheic dermatitis patients at Beijing Armed Police General Hospital from January to July 2025. Patients were randomly divided into a control group (n=30) and a study group (n=30) using a random number table method. The study groups received either tacrolimus cream alone or a combination of tacrolimus cream and halometasone cream. Clinical outcomes were evaluated through symptom scores, total adverse reaction rates, and treatment effectiveness. Results: The study group demonstrated significantly higher overall treatment efficacy than the control group (P<0.05). No significant difference was observed in adverse reaction rates (P>0.05). Pre-treatment symptom scores showed no significant variation between groups (P>0.05). Post-treatment symptom scores in the study group decreased markedly compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of halometasone cream and tacrolimus cream during seborrheic dermatitis treatment significantly enhances therapeutic outcomes with good safety profiles and marked symptom improvement, making it a clinically recommended treatment approach.
