【】Objective To study the effect of implant restoration treatment in the clinical treatment of tooth row defects. Methods Seventy patients with tooth row defects treated at Dafeng People"s Hospital in Yancheng City from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects. Patients were encoded according to the order of hospital admission, and groups were formed by randomly selecting codes. The control group (35 cases) was treated with the traditional clasp denture method, while the observation group (35 cases) received implant restoration treatment. The treatment effects were compared, and the masticatory function and articulatory function of patients in both groups before and after treatment were evaluated. The post-treatment complications of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The total effective rate of patients in the observation group after implant restoration treatment was higher than that of the control group (p < 0.05). The masticatory function evaluation showed that the scores of masticatory efficiency and other items in the observation group after treatment were higher than those in the control group (p < 0.05). The articulatory function evaluation showed that the scores of articulatory phonetic assessment and other items in the observation group after treatment were higher than those in the control group (p < 0.05). The total incidence of complications after treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion Implant restoration technology can be used in the clinical treatment of tooth row defects, which has a significant effect. It can effectively improve patients" masticatory function and articulatory function, and has fewer complications after treatment, which is worth reference.
